What is Annunciator?

Abnormal state refers to conditions such as high temperature, low pressure, loss of cooling water flow, or many others. Typically, the base unit of the alarm annunciator has four programmable keys. These keys are for the Mute, Acknowledge, Reset, and Test function. A button is used to silence the alarm. And the window remains lit as long as the process is in the alarm state. When the process condition returns to normal, or when the alarm clears, then the lamps in the window go out.
